My name is Yong and I started this blog when I went to Tanzania as a VSA volunteer for 2 years. This is my story. One kiwi asian guy, stepping out into the unknown, surviving, living, growing.. trying to make a difference.
What started out as a blog to tell people what I was up to and to share my experiences and insights, grew into more than just that. The journey that started out when I made the decision to leave for Africa still continues.. but it all started with my time there.
